What we collect
When you create a workspace, we ask for your email and the names you want on the invitation. As you build out the day, you may give us a guest list, an event timeline, and a wedding website draft. That is the entirety of the personal information we hold for most owners.
When a guest opens an RSVP link, we record their reply, any meal selection, and any note they leave for you. We do not record their IP address, browser fingerprint, or location.
What we don't collect
We do not place advertising trackers on any page. We do not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party fingerprinting libraries. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing on these pages to ask permission for.
How we use it
Owner data is used to render your workspace and to send the emails you have approved — RSVP invitations, reminders, save-the-dates. Guest replies are visible only to the workspace owners and to anyone they explicitly add as a co-planner.
We never use your data to train models, generate likenesses, or as input to any feature outside your own workspace.
Who sees it
You, the people you invite into your workspace, and a small number of engineers on call when something breaks. That is the entire list. We are a two-person team. We do not have a sales department, a data-broker partnership, or an affiliate program.
How long we keep it
For active workspaces: as long as the workspace exists. If you ask us to delete a workspace, we remove it within seven days, including from rolling backups within thirty.
For closed accounts: we retain the email address for sixty days as a courtesy in case you change your mind, then we delete that too.
Your rights
You can ask for an export or deletion from the Privacy Choices page, or by emailing privacy@wedorganizer.com. We may ask you to verify the request from the email address on file before acting.
If you live somewhere with stronger rights — California, the EU, the UK — those rights apply to you here too. The Privacy Choices page is the current path for exercising them.
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, we will email everyone with an active workspace at least fourteen days before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
